Conformance Status
Partially Conformant
The ComplianceAI Canada platform is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We are actively working to achieve full conformance and are committed to continuous improvement. Known issues are documented below.
Known Accessibility Issues
We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are working to address them:
PDF Documents
Some generated compliance reports in PDF format may not be fully accessible. We are working on implementing accessible PDF generation.
Workaround: Contact contact@canadacomplianceai.ca to request an accessible HTML version of any report.
Complex Data Visualizations
Some interactive charts and graphs may have limited screen reader support. Alternative text summaries are provided, but detailed navigation is being improved.
Workaround: Data tables with equivalent information are available below each chart.
Third-Party Integrations
Some third-party payment and authentication services embedded in our platform may have accessibility limitations beyond our control. We are working with vendors to improve this.
Testing and Compliance
How we check the public website today:
- Automated checks: Lighthouse accessibility audits, plus automated tests for heading structure, form labels, colour contrast and horizontal scrolling at a 320px width
- Keyboard checks: skip link, menus that open and close from the keyboard and return focus, and visible focus indicators
- Your feedback: tell us about any barrier you meet using the contact details on this page
We have not yet commissioned an independent third-party accessibility audit.
