1. Overview
Canada Compliance AI Inc. offers a fair and transparent refund policy. This policy applies to all subscription plans purchased through canadacomplianceai.ca.
Plans Covered: Solo ($49/mo or $490/yr CAD), Business ($149/mo or $1,490/yr CAD), Team ($249/mo or $2,490/yr CAD). Prices are before tax.
2. 14-Day Free Trial
How It Works
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial
A credit card is required to start the trial; you are not charged during the trial
Full access to all platform features
After Trial Ends
If you do not cancel, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan
Billing starts on day 15
You will receive email reminders 3 days and 1 day before trial ends
No Refunds for Forgetting to Cancel: If you forget to cancel before the trial ends, you are responsible for the first payment. We recommend setting a calendar reminder.
3. Monthly Subscriptions — No Refunds
Monthly plans are non-refundable. Once you are billed for a month, we do not issue refunds for:
Partial months (e.g., canceling on day 10 of a 30-day billing cycle)
Change of mind
Unused features
Dissatisfaction with the Service
What Happens If You Cancel?
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
You retain full access until then
No further charges after that period
You can reactivate anytime (billing restarts immediately)
Annual plans (Solo $490/year, Business $1,490/year, Team $2,490/year) are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable.
Include: Email address, purchase date (found in receipt), reason for refund (optional)
We will process your refund within 5 business days
Refund issued to the original payment method (credit card via Stripe)
After 30 Days
After the first 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable. You can still turn off auto-renewal at any time: your access continues until the end of your annual term, and you won't be charged again.
Example:
You subscribe to Business Annual ($1,490) on January 1
You cancel on January 25 → Full refund ($1,490)
You cancel on February 5 → No refund (past 30 days), but access continues until December 31 and the plan does not renew
